I cannot remember where we bought our current Serta Pillow-top. It must have been in one of the major bed-sales showrooms. I can remember that the process was very annoying. There were tiny, cutaway diagrams. One could bounce on and off a few sample mattresses for a half minute or so. However, it was impossible to tell what was really inside and whether spending an extra $300 made for a better purchase. The sales people whether commissioned or not, weren't terribly helpful.
I checked here in my blog, which ends up being a lifesaver for those times when I am trying to find something from personal history. It seems as though we bought our current mattress in the summer of 2005. Wow, that doesn't seem possible! I guess it is time for a new one.

I often find my preferences are more like a millennial than a baby boomer. Sure, I'll try buying a mattress online. I learned a lot more from the Internet than I ever could in a store. Please Endy, ship one by UPS. I'm rather looking forward to trying memory foam. Giving business to a Canadian company seems like icing on the cake.
